[ Posted on 07/04/2007 at 11:04 ]

Hi I have two M-Audio Projectmix Firewire sound cards. the first one I bought does not work! It turns on but my computer doesn't recognise it - when I launch the Control Panel it tells me that the Projectmix is not connected to the computer. What do I do????????

Thanks that is what I am going to do. It means getting on a plane and flying to another country which is why I was hoping to be able to solve it at home. Cheers.

4HELP!!!!!! M-Audio Projectmix Firewire
[ Posted on 07/05/2007 at 18:06 ]

ok...

how about some knowledge base?

did you know that M-Audio strongly suggests not to hot-plug the projectmix? this could be your case.

troubleshooting steps:

1. Turn your M-Audio FireWire device off, wait 30 seconds then power it on.

2. Put your computer into hibernation mode, wait 30 seconds then reactivate it.

3. Restart the computer (don’t turn it off) while the M-Audio FireWire device remains connected and powered on.
