Hey everyone, been a LONG time since I've been here.
I'm having a problem with this new operating system.
When I plug in a mic into the stock sound card (RealTeck) no sound comes out. Now before you go and say "Try a new mic" I'm positive that it works as I plugged it into my guitar amp two feet away and it worked fine.
When I try to set up the audio devices in Adobe Audition it says that sound driver isn't installed. This isn't true and I've tried to unistall and reinstall with no avail.
Device manager in control panel on Vista is absolutely useless in this situation as there are just two volume controls; one for vista and one for devices.
Anyways after this huge story I've written here what it boils down to is this question:

Is Adobe Audition capable of running on Vista? -does or has anyone seen it?
Does anyone know of anything that I might be doing wrong as far as the device settings go, or any suggestions?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Later,
