I.E. a drum mic kit, some vocal and instriment mics, some condensers, and whatever else I would need. It would be nice if I could just buy a complete kit to save time, and upgrade later when I have assesed my needs and preferences. Thanks for your input. | ||

3 posts | 2 Posted on 12/27/2007 at 03:59 as with anything, the more you know/experiment with, the higher the prices get....usually! for a start, do youhave a good mic pre? if not, this is just as import. if not more so.....read up on some tapeop issues for some good insight... my rec. would be a heil or venerable shure sm57 dynamic an oktava, studio projects or even mxl condenser.....or a higher priced rode and mic pre....focusrite, grace, avalon....around $4-500 bucks but worth it....and thats your 1000 bucks....dont spend too much on cables, but not too little either |
