Hi,

I recently aqquired an m-audio fast track pro usb/midi interface. I have been able to record my guitar directly into it with success, but when i attempted to mic my brothers drum kit the other day, i ran into a bit of a sticky wicket. The drums could be heard fine on the track they were recorded but they were a little bit off time relative to the "scratch track" i had my brother listening to when the drum track was recorded via the direct monitoring feature on the fast track pro. I know that my brother was playing in time when the track was recorded. I know little about latency and how can I fix this problem???

I have a question for you actually

How did you connect your Fast Track Pro to your computer and begin recording

For whatever reason, I can't get Live 6 to work with my guitar
Are you supposed to use an amp and then run it through the M-Audio box?

Any help would be appreciated
