i've just recently bought a condenser mic..i cant use it yet because i need to buy a phantom..but anyways heres my question how am i able to hook up my mic to my pc if its plug into the phantom??..so yah obviously its my first time having one..iono im so confused right now..could you guys help me out??

Preamps with phantom power will have an output jack of some sort. Depending on the jack and the one one your sound card you might need an adapter cable of some type. 
 
Be aware: don't connect or disconnect your mic while phantom power is on.

is a preamp even essential??..i thought all you needed was a phantom then your all set..

The preamp is needed for all microphones. Good ones are extremely expensive.
