DVD audio is usually encoded in AC3 format which then needs to be converted to wav. GL!

Hi - I need to know how to rip audio from a dvd. (i have a sony vaio with video editing software, but i cant do it on my current set up).
the listed file types on dvd are .ifo, .vob, and .bup.

note: i just want the audio - but if you know either how to save the file from the dvd or how to convert it to d. audio, please let me know that too! any little bit helps.

I just downloaded a deal called Wiretap. It puts a record button on you screen and will record whatever is playing when you hit it.
